CHD Property’s roots lie in the property investment sector, advising and acting on the sale or acquisition of specialist assets. We bring the same approach to property investment and the sale of assets as to our other work – end user led, with targeted direct marketing, based on property and operational experience.

Timing in the sale of any asset is key to ensure it is fully valued by the market. We work with clients to work up and clearly demonstrate the full trading potential of an asset in advance of marketing. This will typically involve asset management in upgrading the tenant mix, maximising occupancy‎ and building footfall and sales to generate future growth in rental and net income streams.

The factory outlet investment market is a key area of activity for CHD Property. Operationally, the sector continues to evolve as part of the UK retail market, providing an additional mainstream route to market alongside the high street and on line sales. Centres have become an increasingly mature part of the retail investment market, as new retailer entrants to the sector and the value message drive year on year growth, often in cotrast to the high steet and elswhere.

We monitor the evolution of each UK factory outlet centre as the market‎ continues to develop. Through our specialist database and retailer relationships, we have advised both new entrants and established outlet landlords on the occupational status and future positioning opportunities for centres.We have also acted in the sale and introduction of joint venture partners for specialist destination retail centres and development opportunities, setting up prospective tenant mixes to quantify the potential of a site and the future business plan.

We have brought the same targeted approach to other asset classes, including visitor attractions, farm parks, agricultural, residential and marine based assets.
